Lee established DV8 Designs in 2006 and enjoys over 20 years of experience designing and delivering just about every kind of building you can imagine, ranging in project value of £20k to £35m. An exceptionally experienced architectural/interior designer whose background embraces all things hospitality and commercial developments. including leisure centre, spas, restaurant & bars , hotel and nightclub design. He combines design inspirations with his technical qualifications and outstanding presentation skills to provide a quality of work, which has attained high regard and awards.
Gaynor has enjoyed over 20 years working in senior roles within the sales, marketing , brand and commercial functions within the hotel and hospitality industry, assisting companies in driving bottom line by highly creative and memorable sales & marketing initiatives . Previous roles have included Marketing & Brand Director positions within the luxury hotel sector, (De Vere Group PLC and QHotels ) hospitality and tourism industries, and helping these companies understand that competitive advantage and ultimately brand advocacy, is only truly realised once a differentiated brand promise is consistently executed. Key level of expertise is the ability to instinctively immerse herself into a brand, fanatical about delivering straight to bottom line and a high quality customer experience It has been said on numerous occasions that Gaynor has a sixth sense for understanding a company's objectives and customer requirements resulting in a differentiated customer experience and journey points being identified and implemented on time and within budget. Experience covers the full spectrum of the marketing mix, including CRM, Guest experience, R & D, Direct Mail, Digital, Brand definition, Internal communications, Marketing communications, Advertising and PR. across all hospitality sectors and major golf tournaments-including the largest golf tournament in the world – The Ryder Cup in 2002. Gaynor is CIM qualified and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, also elected member MCIM.
Iain spent his formative years as a Chef at Gleneagles and The Dorchester hotels. Having spent time overseas, he returned to Manchester where he continues to live and work.
Iain moved into frontline management with SSP in 1995.
Five years later he joined Est Est Est as Operations Director developing and growing the business in size from 8 restaurants to 22, prior its sale in 2007. Iain then became a founding partner and Operations Director of Individual Restaurant Company which comprises of 10 Restaurant Bar and Grills and 22 Piccolino restaurants.
In 2012 Iain created his Consultancy business, and was successfully appointed to a number of non-executive board positions. Iain won the prestigious Catey Group restaurateur award in 2010.
